Worklife Mindfulness Course
Reduce stress and improve wellbeing in just 6 weeks
Practicing mindfulness is known to support wellbeing, increase personal effectiveness and enhance our ability to cope with life's challenges.
It's been shown to improve focus and other cognitive skills used at work. Even brief periods of mindfulness can increase working memory, reaction times, comprehension scores and decision-making.
And it's been found to impact all aspects of our lives from better communication and relationships to less stress and more resilience.
But realising the benefits of mindfulness is more than simply paying attention to the present moment. You also need to know how to use such a skill which is where courses come in.
If you have yet to discover how to develop this skill and bring the power of mindfulness to life then this 6 week course is perfect for you.

Bring Mindfulness to Life
6 week course
Starting 23 October 2024
Based on an NHS-approved mindfulness course, this 6 week programme was developed by the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, and has been specifically designed for non-clinical settings.
The evidence-led course combines psycho-education, mindfulness theory, regular practice and experiential insight to increase self-knowledge, awareness and management.
Course format
In just six sessions delivered via MS Teams, you'll gain all you need to begin to benefit from being mindful.
Each week you will learn about different aspects of mindfulness, habits of mind and neuroscience research findings to help you to better understand the workings of your mind and how to bring mindfulness to life.
Every session includes meditation practice and discussion so you'll feel confident using your new skill.
The programme is designed so that each session builds on learning from previous ones. By the end, you will understand what mindfulness is and how to use it in daily life.
