The Power of Microbreaks
How to use short breaks to boost wellbeing and improve concentration
Heavy workloads and tight deadlines, together with an almost constant stream of virtual meetings, make it hard to remember we're not designed to be sat down focusing and processing all day long. Unlike the machines we work with, our ability to concentrate, think creatively and make decisions diminishes over time.
This workplace wellbeing session explores how taking short, intentional breaks throughout the day restores our capacity to think, communicate and work well.

Lunch & Learn
Perfect introduction to mindfulness
If you want to learn about mindfulness then this is a perfect introduction. The Taste of Mindfulness session was very well structured and helped me learn the truth about mindfulness. I particularly liked the exercise where we were asked to observe the mind whilst looking at an image on a slide - really helped you understand how your brain does its own thing! I also liked seeing everyone's comments in the chat when asked for our thoughts at different points during the session and Tracey's response as she read them out.
